About the instructor

Henry (Hank) Williams is a Lecturer in Africana Studies at Lehman College. He has an M.Phil in English from the CUNY Graduate Center and BA in Media and Communications from the City College of New York. He was a 2011-12 Diversity Fellow at SUNY Purchase and has taught at CUNY’s Lehman College, City College of New York, and Hunter Colleges in the English, SEEK, and Sociology departments, respectively as well as for NYU’s Gallatin School for Individualized Study.

He currently teaches courses in the Africana Studies and English Departments at Lehman College.
