As of now (mid June), Lehman’s Leonard Lief Library and most other CUNY libraries have re-opened, but best to check with a specific library before making a trip since the situation’s changing rapidly and campus access policies vary.

Book Ordering

The campus bookstore is only taking online orders: they’ll send the books to your home. Go to the bookstore website (link takes you directly to the textbook shopping page) and select your courses. Enter ENG 229 for this class then select the section.

Books are also available online at various vendors–usually for very low cost. Do a search for book titles used. Aside from the usual options, Abebooks is worth checking: several independent bookstores and sellers post their books there.

Borrowing Books

Also check the New York Public Library and the corresponding Brooklyn and Queens systems for copies to borrow.  Remember that you’ll need the books to prepare for exams! So be sure that you can keep them long enough or get another copy if you borrow/rent.
